Thesis director

Debora Scuderi

Professor in Physical Chemistry at Paris-Saclay University, Institute of Physical Chemistry.

Debora Scuderi has a strong expertise in the coupling of mass spectrometry with spectroscopic techniques, including infra-red and UV. She is currently the scientific responsible of the CLIO Free Electron Laser Facility in Orsay and of the IRMPD (IR Multiple Photon Dissociation Spectroscopy) platform in the France research infrastructure Infranalytics and in the recent France light LUMA exploratory PEPR project. Her recent research interests include the study of  the oxidation pathways of amino acids and small peptides characterised by mass spectrometry and IR spectroscopy and the infrared-assisted synthesis of prebiotic molecules.
