You may apply for a maximum of 3 different PhD projects (please consult the applicant guide for details).
Contact the thesis supervisor
Find out about the thesis project, the facilities, and if your skills and experience are a good match for the needs of the project.
The feedback will is very important to prepare your application.

Finalise all the sections of the application following the guidelines given in How to Apply section and submit them via Sphinx platform.

Evaluation of Applications
All applications are verified for eligibility and then sent to be evaluated by two independent external evaluators.
Interviews
Online interviews are conducted by an Interview Committee (see the full guide for applicants for details). Each candidate has 12 min of presentation and 15 min for questions.

- Publication of Call: Week 51 (2025) to Week 9 (2026)
- Call Open: 16 December 2025
- Application deadline: 23 February 2026
- Evaluation by External experts: Week 9 (24/02/2026) to Week 14 (31/12/2026)
- Interviews: Week 16 (13 April 2026) to Week 19 (8 May 2026)
- Publication of results: Week 27 (30 April 2026) to Week 11 (11/05/2026)
