Marie Erard is professor of physical chemistry at the Université Paris Saclay. Her background is at the interface between analytical and physical chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology. She has made significant contributions in the field of fluorescent proteins and genetically encoded biosensors, enabling the analysis of live-cell chemistry. Notably, she developed methods for monitoring NADPH oxidase interactions and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. As the interdisciplinary program BioProbe coordinator, she has extensive expertise in leading collaborative cross-disciplinary projects. In collaboration with Oliver Nusse, she proposes a project entitle: Spatio-temporal monitoring of the interactions of the NADPH oxidase complex and identification of potential drug targets.
