ROBUST MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION OF RESILIENT FREEFORM CATOPTRIC SYSTEMS

My field of research is mainly concerned with frugal infrared instrumentation, with the aim of miniaturizing optronic systems (SWaP-C issue) for integration on small carriers such as UAVs or nanosatellites, reducing their cost but also enhancing their imaging functions such as multispectral imaging, hyperspectral imaging or 3D imaging. This leads me to study the contribution of complex optical components (diffractive optics, bio-inspired multichannel architectures, freeform surfaces, gradient index optics) as well as end-to-end design between optics and image processing.
