Fabien Bretenaker is a senior researcher (“Directeur de Recherche”) for the French National Center for Research (CNRS), a professor at Ecole Polytechnique, and an adjunct professor at Ecole Normale Paris-Saclay and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He is currently the head of the laboratory LuMIn in Paris-Saclay University. His research deals with laser physics, quantum sensing, inertial sensing, nonlinear optics and quantum optics.
