Associate professor at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School (Palaiseau, France)
After obtaining an engineering degree in electronics (1999) and a thesis in laser physics from the Université Paris-Saclay (2003), Sylvie Lebrun is conducting her researches at the Laboratoire Charles Fabry. Her fields of expertise are optical non linearities and light-matter interactions in specialty optical fibers. She is deeply interested in applications of her researches (environnement, laser sources, sensors etc …) and during her career she obtained several prizes for the valorization of her results. She teaches the courses of non linear optics and guided and coupled waves at the engineering school Supoptique. She is also referent for gender equality.
