Patrick Georges
Programme Coordinator
Patrick Georges, as the director of ISL, took over as the coordinator of LIGHTinPARIS from Jean-Jacques Greffet in September 2025.
Patrick, a CNRS research director, has been the director of the Laboratoire Charles Fabry between 2015 and 2025. His current research interests include solid-state and ultrafast lasers and non-linear optics, and has supervised 26 PhD students and co-authored 325 scientific papers.
Nina Tyminska
ISL Project Manager LIP Management Support
Nina holds a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry and postdoctoral experience in computational modeling materials for renewable energy. She contributes to the management, administration, and communication of the LIGHTinPARIS program and serves as Project Manager for the Institute for the Science of Light at Université Paris-Saclay.
